Privacy policy
How Summa & Co. collects, uses and protects the information you share with us. Plain language, no surprises — the same way we keep books.
What we collect
When you contact us or become a client we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, company details, and the financial records you engage us to work on. Our website collects standard analytics — pages visited and approximate location — with no advertising trackers.
How we use it
Client information is used solely to deliver the services in your engagement letter: bookkeeping, tax preparation, payroll and advisory. We do not sell, rent or share your information with third parties except the processors required to deliver the work — and each is bound by confidentiality.
How long we keep it
Financial records are retained for the period required by tax law — generally seven years — after which they are securely destroyed. You may request a copy of your records at any time; they are yours.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by writing to us. We respond within one business day and complete requests within thirty.
